1980 Kramer DMZ 6000G Aluminum Neck New Old Stock!
INCREDIBLE find for the discerning collector! This guitar was purchased by a music store owner the first year he started his shop in the tiny town of Central Square, NY. It still includes its original hang tags that look brand new - he kept this guitar in its case for years until passing away a few years ago and we purchased his 100+ guitar collection.
As part of the DMZ series, the DMZ 6000G included a T-style aluminum neck with wooden inserts. The 6000 was much like the DMZ 5000 but included a thicker maple body core and two distinct curvatures in the butt. The 6000 also sported a pair of DiMarzio Dual Sound active pickups to set it apart from the rest of the series.

Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition. There are some small finish cracks in the neck pocket which can be seen in photos. Overall very minimal play wear on this piece.

Tech Notes: Kramer relief is .022" with 5/64" action on the low side 4/64" on the high side, strung with 9's, plays quite well considering the higher relief and minimal to no buzzing throughout
