PRS Private Stock Hollowbody II Tremolo Piezo Spalted Maple Purple - PS# 7792
Jesse from Ish Guitars here with a very special PRS Private Stock creation - a Hollowbody II with Tremolo AND Piezo!
The goal for this build was to make the most versatile guitar ever. The HBII Trem is only available in Private Stock, and of course my first question to the Private Stock team was if we could use the piezo bridge as well. We added two mini toggle switches to trigger single coil mode on each pickup also, so you have a full range of both acoustic, electric, and blended sounds.

Cosmetically, the PRS Private Stock team blew this one out of the water. I selected a crazy spalted maple top and asked PRS to silver leaf the inside of the spalt lines. Then they added a burst over the silver leaf - this guitar is VERY difficult to photograph as it changes significantly in the light, the burst over the leaf makes some areas look black at some angles, and shimmer in the light in other angles. Truly a special piece only fully understood by holding it in your hands.
I asked for a special sparkle resin inlay material to match the opaque silver paint on the sides and neck, and chose a purple heart fretboard and tuning keys to tie together the purple color scheme using this naturally colored hardwood (which sounds incredible, by the way).
One of my favorite little touches - I asked the Private Stock team to paint silver INSIDE the F holes! Looks super clean.
Even the hard case was optioned to match with black tooled leather and blue crush interior. Once this guitar is gone - it's gone - we will never build another, so make sure to contact us right away if interested!

Hardware: Gloss black PRS Gen III tremolo bridge, PRS phase III set screw locking tuning pegs with Purple Heart buttons, Spalted Maple backplate and truss rod cover toned/leafed to match. This guitar is built similar to a Gibson 335 and has a center block in it to support the tremolo bridge.
