1978 Ovation Matrix 1132-1 Sunburst
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM
All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.
INDIVIDUALLY PHOTOGRAPHED
After 15 years of innovation in our photography process, Ish Guitars has developed a way to get you the most accurate true-to-life color of every instrument we sell. We never embellish, oversaturate, or misrepresent our images, so that your buying experience can be as much like visiting our showroom as possible. Keep in mind that various computer screens can show colors a bit differently, so the color on your screen may not match the real thing perfectly no matter how hard we try. Also, unless otherwise noted, we individually list and photo every piece of gear that comes through our doors.

SPECS
Weight: 5.3 lbs
Case Details: Original Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is in very good condition. There are some finish cracks on the lower bout that run up to the bridge. There are also a few finish cracks on both sides of the top where the fretboard meets the guitar. The first few inlays are missing on the fretboard. The neck also has a bit of finish haziness that is very difficult to capture in a photograph, but we did our best to represent the blemish.
Tech Notes: This guitar has a few things to note. The board shows some wear marks. There are a couple finish cracks on the top, but they are not through the wood and appear to be finish deep only. The saddle is quite low and the action is medium to medium/high with near flat relief. The neck angle is a bit low, but all in all it still plays well, albeit a bit higher, and sounds really nice. The end pin jack spins but seems to be held on and stabilized likely with a nut on the other side of it against the endpin block.
Mods or Repairs: The frets have tooling marks on them indicative of previous fret work.
