SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM

All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.

INDIVIDUALLY PHOTOGRAPHED

After 15 years of innovation in our photography process, Ish Guitars has developed a way to get you the most accurate true-to-life color of every instrument we sell. We never embellish, oversaturate, or misrepresent our images, so that your buying experience can be as much like visiting our showroom as possible. Keep in mind that various computer screens can show colors a bit differently, so the color on your screen may not match the real thing perfectly no matter how hard we try. Also, unless otherwise noted, we individually list and photo every piece of gear that comes through our doors.

SPECS

Weight: 9.8lbs

Case Details: Original Hardshell Case

Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition. Many scratches, dings and worn areas present all over the body of the instrument.  Scratching also on the headstock, and dings on the back of the neck as well.

Tech Notes: Guitar, Hardware, and Electronics were cleaned/tested and are functioning appropriately. Setup with minimal neck relief and medium/low action. Fretboard cleaned and Frets Polished. Plays evenly throughout the entire neck with consistent playability/intonation. Killer guitar all in all!

Mods or Repairs: This guitar has undergone some changes! The original mini-humbucker pickups have been changed with 2 full size pickups (1 new replacement PAF and the other a true Gibson labeled real deal Gibson embossed patent pickup!) which required the previous owner to do additional routing (see attached photos).

You will also notice there is some material removed from the floating pick-guard to fit the sizing of the humbucker rings. Backplate screws have been replaced from original screws.

The nut was replaced with what appears to be a Tusq nut. Pots were replaced at some point with 2 older Gibson branded pots and 2 newer gibson pots. When speaking with Gibson they're confident (as are we) that it was built within 1970-1975 The previous owner said it was a 1972, but since we cannot directly verify that based on serial with prefer to say it is certainly between 1970-1975!

Pickups Readout: Neck - 7.38k  // Bridge - 8.32K

Neck Profile: Medium C - Feels in between both 50's and 60's style, like a slimmer 50’s or thicker 60’s, super comfortable!

Neck Thickness: 1st - 0.80"  / 12th - 1.00"

Fingerboard Radius: 10"

Nut Width: 1.67”

Scale Length: 24 3/4"

Electronics Layout: 2 Volume, 2 Tone, 3-Way Pickup Selector (Standard Les Paul Wiring)

String Gauge: 10 - 46

Please note: All measurements are taken in-house. While we strive for accuracy, slight variations may occur compared to manufacturer specifications due to the nature of hand-measuring.
